Britney Spears’ mum and sister have both shared cryptic messages on social media amid the singers ongoing battle to have her conservatorship overturned.
The chart-topping star’s 66-year-old mother Lynne and her 30-year-old sister Jamie Lynn have attracted attention from fans after both posting messages online.
Their updates come following a victory for 39-year-old Britney who this week landed A List lawyer Mathew Rosengart – who represents a string of high-profile stars including Steven Spielberg and Ben Affleck – as her own lawyer for her case.
While Britney’s court battle is aimed at her 69-year-old father, Jamie Spears, who she wants to have removed from her conservatorship as he controls her financial and personal affairs, her mother and sister have also been scrutinised by fans.
Both ladies appeared to indicate they want the court drama to end sooner rather than later as they shared updates on social media amid Britney’s ongoing battle.
Mum Lynne shared a quote from the bible via her Instagram page on Wednesday, which states: “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.”
While sister Jamie Lynn appeared to hit out via her own social media page on Thursday, writing: “Dear Lord, Can we end this bull sh#t once and for all,” adding: “Amen.”
