The fallout from Vice President Kamala Harris’ visits to Guatemala and Mexico – and a subsequent TV interview – continued Friday as she received more criticism from Republicans regarding her migrant-crisis role.

Friday was the 80th day that Harris has not visited the U.S.-Mexico border since becoming the point person for the Biden administration’s response to the migrant crisis there.

The latest critics of the vice president included former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who appeared on Fox News’ “Mornings with Maria.”

“She is finished,” Perry, who later served as energy secretary in the Trump administration, told host Maria Bartiromo about Harris.

“The fact is that Americans are seeing across the board that this person is not ready for primetime from the standpoint of being able to be a leader that impresses any confidence that she has the ability to lead, to do what’s right for America.”
