Former Trump campaign manager and White House aide Kellyanne Conway has joined the campaign of Bernie Moreno, who’s running for the U.S. Senate from Ohio, her first foray into politics since she stepped down from the Trump administration last year amid family drama.

Conway will serve as a senior campaign advisor to Moreno, who is competing in a crowded Republican primary field for the seat left empty by retiring GOP Sen.

Rob Portman, who announced early this year he will not run again over the Senate’s “partisan gridlock.”
