Music Box will bring live music back inside the venue starting in May, with coronavirus precautions in mind.

The Flats venue, located at 1148 Main Ave., previously launched a socially distanced “Table for Two” concert series in June 2020. However, the business later had to cancel the series in November 2020 due to COVID-19 spikes and Cuyahoga County’s stay-at-home advisory.

Starting on May 2, the venue will welcome back in-person shows, kicking off with a Becky Boyd Blues Brunch at noon. Music Box has more than 30 shows scheduled through the remainder of 2021, featuring a mix of tribute band performances, local acts and touring groups.

Face masks will be required at concerts except while attendees are at their dining tables, and social distancing will be enforced, according to a press release. When purchasing tickets for the concerts, the venue recommends that customers also make table reservations to help the venue plan.
