The City National Bank Tent is the place to be for nightly musical entertainment, and this year’s Superman Celebration will again offer a little something for everyone.
FRIDAY Fans can take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Friday for Metropolis Sings: Karaoke/Lip Sync Celebration, hosted by Ray Martinez, and will want to stick around for the Kryptonian Glo Dance at 8 p.m.
SATURDAY Things are gonna get funky Saturday from 7-9 p.m. as The Aquaducks, a high-energy funk and soul band from Nashville, Tennessee, take the stage with their fresh, yet nostalgic brand of modern funk.
Described by Brooklyn, New York, blog Pancakes and Whiskey as, “dripping with enough funk to fill several swimming pools,” The Aquaducks have developed a strong audio-visual experience and established a long-term relationship with fans.
Consisting of Cavanaugh Mims on vocals/keys, Zach Sheffler and Thomas Baxter on guitar, Andrew Fleming on drums, Aaron Veneziano on bass, Paul Violante on sax and Elijah Hall on trumpet, The Aquaducks’ live show is a party on stage and off, from start to finish.
