THE WHAT? The Estee Lauder Companies has announced the promotion of Michelle Freyre and Glenn Evans to Global Brand President, Clinique and Global Brand President, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW, respectively.
THE DETAILS Freyre joined the company from Johnson & Johnson as SVP/Global GM, Clinique last June and has since made a ‘significant impact’ on the brand’s positioning, according to a statement issued by The Estee Lauder Companies.
Evans has worked across a number of senior roles over the course of his 30-year career, most recently as SVP and GM, Smashbox and GLAMGLOW. As Global Brand President, he will continue to lead Smashbox and GLAMGLOW into their next phases of sustainable growth.
THE WHY? The Estee Lauder Companies Executive Group President, John Demsey, commented, “Michelle and Glenn are both incredibly dynamic leaders who have beautifully steered their respective brands through the challenges of the past year.
